Among the vast sea of CPPS's (Club Penguin Private Server's) there's one in particular that has made it's mark. And that one is Club Penguin Journey! This CPPS was launched on February 5th 2023 in an alpha state. I personally discovered it a few months ago near the end of July while they were having their Music Jam 2024 party event. And I had tons of fun, waiting several hours just to see a fictional penguin band preform couldn't be more exhilarating. All jokes aside, the game has had some ups and downs this year, from releasing some weird expensive loot box system after giving a good majority of the playerbase over 500k coins, to closing the game temporarily due to poor management, this game could never seem to get a break, but I've thoroughly enjoyed my time on the platform. In the past I've had some poor experiences revolving around other CPPS's, including Club Penguin Rewritten, which had a major data breach that I didn't know about until checking haveibeenpwned.com, so getting into CPPS's again seemed like a huge risk.
And I should preface that I'm not saying to trust Club Penguin Journey with your login information more than any other CPPS's, when you log into any CPPS you're acknowledging that any of the personal information you provide to them aren't always being handled with professional care. I don't know anything about this sort of stuff so all I could say is to be careful.
I began playing Club Penguin in general around 2014-2016, that'a a huge gap I know but I can't say for certain when I first found it, what I do know is that around the games closure I had a massive Club Penguin phase, and I was devasted. It was tough to even get access to the game since I didn't have a laptop or a PC yet, I had to borrow my older sisters MacBook if I wanted to play, other than that I mostly played it on my IPad Mini, and it wasn't always the greatest way to play it. The penguins had this weird 3D style that didn't look quite as good as how it did on desktop. After the game closed down I did resort to CPPS's as did most people who were fans of the game who yearned for more Club Penguin content. But I never got the same feeling that I did when playing the original game, until Club Penguin Journey.
I was a bit skeptical of Club Penguin Journey at first, not only because of the whole privacy issue but also because it mimicked the style of Club Penguin from about 2009-2012, and as I previously stated. I began playing a bit later than that, but I quickly came to adore the style. It felt less corporate than more modern Club Penguin.
